A hands-on birthday experience filled with creativity, imagination, interesting materials, and space to make something uniquely their own alongside their friends.

Sparc parties are designed for creative kids who would want to paint, build, experiment, imagine, and make rather than move through loud party games or rushed activities.
Instead of everyone making the same thing, children are encouraged to explore materials freely, follow ideas naturally, and create in their own way.
Some parties get wonderfully messy.
Others become quiet pockets of deep focus and imaginative play.
Every party feels a little different because it’s shaped by the children in the room.
Each sparc party is tailored to your child’s interests, with plenty of inspiring themes to choose from (or we can create something unique together).

Colour Carnival
A vibrant, joy filled creative celebration exploring colour, movement and playful experimentation. Children are invited to spray, splat, print, paint and layer through a series of open ended creative stations designed to feel immersive and expressive.

Tiny Worlds
A miniature making experience filled with storytelling, imagination and curious little details. Children create their own tiny worlds using clay, loose parts, natural materials and open ended invitations designed to encourage creativity, wonder and imaginative play.

Inventors lab
A hands on creative experience for curious thinkers, builders and makers. Personalised to suit your birthday child’s interests, animals, vehicles, magical creatures, space - anything! We use a huge range of materials, loose parts and artsy treasures.

Flower Bar
Inspired by flowers, colour and the natural world, Flower Lab invites children to explore painting, print making, clay and botanical materials through calm, sensory rich creative experiences. A thoughtful and beautifully hands on celebration of nature and creativity.

Nature Explorers
Inspired by the outdoors, a party immersed in the exploration of texture, colour and print making with natural stamps and watercolours. Designed to create organic, textured nature scenes. Each child will create a party keepsake to treasure.

Magical Mixtures
A sensory rich experience where art meets magic. We mix, fizz, and create concoctions, experimenting with everything from fresh flowers, herbs, sequins, glitter, “mermaid water” to “dragons blood”. Everyone creates their own potion art to take home.

Sparc parties are available across Hobart and can be hosted in homes, community spaces and outdoor locations.
Each party is thoughtfully designed to create a fun, hands on and engaging creative experience where children can explore, experiment and celebrate in their own way.
Sparc provides:

• guided creative facilitation
• pack down of creative materials
• themed, process led creative experiences
Families are responsible for:
• catering and birthday food
• tables, seating and general party furniture
• access to water and a suitable creative space
• any additional decorations or styling they’d like to include

True Brew kingston
Hosted inside True Brew Kingston’s dedicated party space, these parties combine Sparc’s open ended creative experiences with the ease of a beautifully hosted café setting.
Sparc provides:
• all art materials and creative setup

• thoughtfully designed hands on and engaging experience
True Brew provides:
• the party space
• tables and seating
• catering options and café service
Families are responsible for:
• organising venue and catering directly through True Brew
• birthday cake and candles
• any additional decorations or styling they’d like to include

Sparc parties are designed for children aged 3–12, with activities tailored to suit the age group, interests and energy of the children attending.

Sparc parties are process led and open ended, which means children are encouraged to explore, experiment and create in their own way rather than follow step by step instructions.
No templates. No pressure to make the same thing. Just thoughtful, hands on creative experiences.

All parties include creative facilitation, art materials, themed creative experiences, setup and pack down of creative materials.
The exact activities will vary depending on the party theme and age group.

Our party bookings are for 2 hours, we include creative exploration and cake cutting in this time also.

Sparc parties can be hosted:
• at home
• in community spaces
• outdoors
• at partnered venues such as True Brew Kingston -
For mobile parties, families are responsible for providing tables, seating for creative activities and general party setup.
Families are also welcome to organise additional decorations and styling if they’d like.

Mobile Sparc parties do not include catering.
For parties hosted at True Brew Kingston, catering can be arranged directly through the café.

Sparc parties are best suited to smaller and medium sized groups to keep the experience calm, engaging and hands on.
Your booking includes a maximum of 12 creative guests. Additional creative guests can be added for $30pp. We recommend no more then 18 total.

Yes, absolutely! While Sparc offers a range of signature party themes, experiences can be adapted to suit your child’s interests, age group or event style.

Some themes can definitely get messy in the best possible way. We recommend children wear comfortable clothes suitable for creative play.

Sparc currently offers mobile parties across Hobart and surrounding areas. Travel fees may apply for locations outside the local area.
