Art Play
AGES 2-5Our Art Play class offers families with toddlers and early preschoolers a chance to explore, experiment, and play together with a variety of art and sensory materials. Typical weekly experiences include: collaborative painting projects; seasonal sensory bins; playing with homemade playdough or clay; exploring light, shadow, and colour; and working on an individual art project each week to take home at the end of the session.
Sparc Club
AGES 5-12Our after school Sparc Club classes are exactly what primary aged kids need after a long day of school – time to create, explore, experiment, and play! In each session we’ll explore a range of art mediums including painting, drawing, printmaking, clay, collaging, and more.
Children will have time and space to explore their own ideas, try out new materials and techniques, problem solve, think creatively, and enjoy the process of creating.
School Holidays
AGES 5-12Creative holiday sessions filled with painting, building, experimenting and hands-on making for kids who love to create.
Each program brings something new to explore, with thoughtfully planned creative experiences and plenty of freedom for children to make them their own.
What is Process-Art?
Process-led art gives children the freedom to explore materials, experiment with ideas and discover their own way of creating.
Instead of everyone following the same steps to make the same thing, children are encouraged to wonder, try, change their minds, solve problems and see what happens next.
There might be paint. There might be cardboard. There might be something they’ve invented that’s almost impossible to explain.
The finished artwork is lovely, but it’s not the most important part.
The confidence to have an idea and trust where it takes them is.
